Why do boys always think the girls like the bad boys?

That Baby Boy (he hasn’t quite gotten rid of the nickname, yet)! I am convinced he’s got a James Dean thing goin’ on!
To begin, let me emphasize the fact that the boy is persistent. He is continually testing to see if something is still forbidden (despite the fact that I have told him “no” on numerous previous occasions).
Further, he’s got this rebel attitude to go along with his actual rebellion. Let me illumine your minds with an example: As soon as The Boy is caught holding something he should not have, he looks at me, bright-eyed, like the proverbial deer in the headlights, drops it, then walks towards me, as if nothing has happened, and smiles at me with this huge, winsome, and, if I am being honest, irresistible grin on his shiny, ruddy little face. And of course, his beautiful blue eyes are twinkling at me the whole time!
He is such a stinker!
And soooo cute . . . that it is very hard to correct him!
In fact, when I was walking into the den the other day, he had gotten a hold of the remote control (one of those forbidden items he just can’t seem to resist). He was standing directly in front of the TV and was just pushing buttons like a mad man. When he realized that he was changing the channels, he started laughing hysterically – like a villain who thought he had just conquered the world. I must confess that I could not immediately correct him! It was all I could do to walk out of the room undetected so I could laugh, without encouraging this incorrigible little boy!
However, after regaining her composure, SuperMom returned to the den and restored world order - much to the shock and dismay of our favorite superhero-in-training.
